This image was captured in Ravello in 2016. Boston Ivy, which turns a beautiful color in the fall, was flourishing on this simple wall. These were the most beautiful vines, the bases of some of these vines were as big as tree trunks.
It's hard to imagine such a beautiful apartment entrance could even exist if not discovered in Ravello in 2016. To see the view within the bars, see Haven. (This image was an award winner in national PPA photographic competition.)
Captured in 2019, this fabulous image depicts one of the 50 wine windows left in Florence, Italy. At one time 100’s of these curious little “taverns” existed along the streets of old Florence. A knock on the foot high doorlet and a handful of coins procured a glass, mug, or flask of the finest red wine from local vineyards.
